Tom Cruise Scientology news has made into the front pages in the last years. Tom has devoted himself to the Church of Scientology. Despite all the criticism and controversies, Cruise is still heavily involved in Scientology. According to some reports, Cruise moved his family members into a Scientology-focused apartment block. These family members include his three sisters and two older children. People say that Cruise has moved them here because of the fear that they’ll leave Scientology just like his two wives. Tom has some issues with people in and outside the industry over his religion. In an interview, he became furious over a question and reacted in such an aggressive manner. He’s too much obsessed with the controversial religion. This obsession ended both marriages. Somehow, Tom convinced his wives to be a part of the religion. But soon enough they both realized that something is wrong.
Tom Cruise Scientology Church:
Tom Cruise was in his career building phase when he got involved with the Church of Scientology in the early 1990s. He got to know about Scientology through his first wife Mimi Rogers. He’s passionate about the organization and over the years he has come forward on the behalf of the organization.
He’s passionate to an extent that he has purchased a house just a block away from the controversial organization’s headquarters. Tom Cruise Scientology’s obsession is way too much. In an interview with Matt Lauer, he got really angry when Matt asked some questions about his religion. Matt said he could see a physical change in Tom when Scientology was mentioned.
Tom Cruise Religion:
Tom Cruise made a public comment during the promotion of his movie “Jack Reacher: Never Go Back”. He said about his belief in Scientology, saying “It is a beautiful Religion”.
He said. “I’ve been a Scientologist for over 30 years. It’s something that is, you know … without it, I wouldn’t be where I am.
So, it’s a beautiful religion. I’m incredibly proud.”
Tom Cruise Scientology History:
Tom cruise’s second marriage was to Nicole Kidman. They both were married in 1990 when Tom got to know about Scientology and was obsessed with it. After two years in 2001, they both separated their ways. Although, they looked like a happy couple and even adopted two children.
Kidman also joined Scientology after she was married to Cruise but soon she changed her mind and left Scientology. She got sick of Tom Cruise Scientology. She convinced Cruise to leave the controversial organization but On the Contrary, Cruise left her instead. He was maniacally devoted to the organization.
In 2006, Tom Cruise married actress Katie Holmes. They had a huge marriage ceremony. Many famous Scientology’s top leaders attended the wedding. Cruise and Katie separated their ways in 2012. They have a daughter named Suri. Suri is in the sole custody of Katie and Tom have not met Suri for 12 years. People claim that this is because Katie doesn’t want Suri to be raised as a Scientologist so the religion will not allow Tom to meet his daughter.
Leah Remini Scientology:
Leah Remini who is an ex-Scientologist alleged Cruise that Tom Cruise Scientology knows about the abuse in the Church of Scientology and he is also a part of it.
In her book “Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology” Remini tells all about her escape from being a member of the Church of the Scientology and she claims that a trio of A-listers was there with her: Tom Cruise, Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith.
Remini writes about a strange night back then when she was a Scientologist, along with the smiths, she was asked to play hide and seek by Tom Cruise to which she took as a joke but Cruise literally wanted to play that childish game with a bunch of grown-ups, to which Remini said “No” because of the Jimmy Choo heels she was wearing. Tom Cruise Scientologist is a fact and he is more devoted to Scientology every passing day.
Tom Cruise South Park:
Back in 2005, the creators of the Comedy Central show “South Park” told the story of the origin of Scientology in their famous episode, “Trapped in the Closet.”
The episode follows character Stan, who, after taking a free test from the church, learns his results are so high that the leaders of the church have declared he’s the reincarnation of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
The following episode includes John Travolta and Tom Cruise. They both go to meet Stan and pay their regards. Stan tells Cruise that “he’s not a good actor” due to which Tom hides in a closet. Different celebrities follow one another to convince Tom to get out of the closet including his former wife Nicole Kidman. During this conversation, the Scientology’s president shows up to tell stan about Scientology and their beliefs. The show airing got delayed in fear that Tom Cruise or the Church would get offended and will take legal action against the network.
